i hope there are milkshakes in heaven

Where do I begin with these bad boys.  Ryan figures if I keep up this latest habit we will spend $60 a month JUST ON MILKSHAKES......hahaha  needless to say, I unfortunately haven't bought one yet this week.  I REALLY AM ADDICTED.  It is my favorite treat I have ever had.  It is the perfect milkshake.  Really, the perfect milkshake.  You can not get this good of a milkshake in the Provo/Orem area, trust me, I have tried.  Come visit me and you can try it too!

Serendipity Frozen Hot Chocolate

Last week in my cooking class we made Serendipity Frozen Hot Chocolate , and it was so yummy. It really tasted just like the real deal from the restaurant. It made me so excited to hopefully live in New York City next summer!
Here is the recipe.....
INGREDIENTS: 6 half-ounce pieces of a variety of your favorite chocolates 2 teaspoons of store-bought hot chocolate mix 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar 1 1/2 cups milk 3 cups of cups of ice whipped cream chocolate shavings
Chop the chocolate into small pieces. Place it in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Stir occasionally until melted. Add the hot chocolate mix and sugar. Stir until completely melted. Remove from heat and slowly add ½ cup of milk until smooth. Cool to room temperature.
(In our class we just melted the chocolate in the microwave and it worked fine.)
In a blender, place the remaining cup of milk, the room-temperature chocolate mixture and the ice. Blend on high speed until smooth and the consistency of a frozen daiquiri. Pour into a giant goblet and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
