Last Day in Kona

This was our last day in Kona! Oh the memories. We are standing in front of the sign the marks the official swim start and run finish of the Iron Man World Championships........boo ya This was right across the street from where we worked. Hopefully one day I will be able to do a marathon ;) But, on a side note, see the horrific haze in the background...well that is the VOG we kept talking about. It is caused by the recent activity at the volcano where sulfur dioxide, and I mean tons of it, is released into the air. This picture was taken at 5:00 PM. Doesn't it look way later. Weird huh?
